DPC TOY RUN SUNDAY:

This SUNDAY 12/12/2010 is the DPCH-D toy run. Show up at 9am for coffee and donuts. The ride starts at 10am. You can call DPC and RSVP with a credit card to be sure to get your ride pin and breakfast ticket. Proceeds go to Officer Felix Sung, who was injured on his motor while escorting the 2008 ride. Also remember to bring an unwrapped toy for the kids at SF General Hospital. Details are at www.dpchd.com

Folks north of the GG Bridge can join us at "The Counter" at the Corte Madera Town Shopping Center for the ride down to DPC. We will leave "The Counter" at 8:30am, to ride down in time for those that still need to sign up. The weather should be good!

2) WHAT ABOUT THE "MARIN" TOY RUN?:

Some riders have asked about the toy run that GGHOG has been doing in Marin County the last few years. The toy run by Golden Gate Harley for Marin County's "Matrix" program was a ride which Golden Gate H-D sponsored and GGHOG always participated in. When Golden Gate H-D closed, we called Marin Matrix and learned they would NOT be having a 2010 toy-run/visit with Santa as in the past. Matrix asked instead for money donations if possible, because their funding this year was drastically reduced. To that end, the GGHOG 2010 board voted to donate $300 from our funds to Matrix. GGHOG’s OFFICIAL CALENDAR

Only the “official” GGHOG events are shown in the calendar below. We strive to have many events, both official club events, as well as informal rides put on by members. As a member, you will have access to a members only site to communicate with fellow members, set up impromptu rides and share the great riding experience.

We hold fundraiser events, as well as participate in fundraisers hosted by other clubs. We are members of the Bay Area Directors of Harley Owner Groups (B.A.D.H.O.G.) and we attend each others target events. This creates more camaraderie and riding possibilities for all of us.

All rides shown on the calendar are “closed rides” per HOG rules, unless stated otherwise. “Closed rides” per HOG rules means that each member may invite a guest to ride, and at no time can the guests out number the members.

(Don’t worry, we have room, YOU CAN come along!)
